What's RSS?
RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication among other things. It essentially changes your web viewing from pull to push. You now do not have to go out to all your favorite sites for content. Rather, you can subscribe to an RSS feed via your browser or blog reader and the content will be pushed to you on a regular basis. Click here for more information on RSS.
What's an aggregated feed?
You can pull RSS feeds from multiple sites into one single stream. For example, in our Boston nonprofit jobs stream, our website automatically goes out to 10 job websites every hour requesting any new jobs and then places those new jobs into our feed. If you subscribed to this feed, you never have to miss a job opportunity in the Boston nonprofit sector.
